Cheesecake

- 3/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 1/4 cups flour
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 5 large eggs
- 3 oranges
- Grand Marnier
- 4 packages cream cheese, softened (1 pack. = 8 ounces)
- In a small bowl, beat the butter, flour, 1/4 cup of sugar, 1 egg yolk, and the grated peel of one orange, until well mixed.
- Shape dough into a ball, refrigerate 1 hour
- Preheat oven to 400F (200C).
- Press 1/3 of the doughonto the bottom of a roundflexible pan
- Bake 8 min, until golden, and let cool
- Turn oven control to 475F
- In a mixer, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
- Gradually add the remaining 1 cup sugar
- Reduce speed and add 1 egg white and 4 eggs, with the juice of 1 orange, and 2 tablespoons flour
- Beat 5min, until well mixed
- Press remainging dough around the pan
- Pour filling
- Bake 12 min, Turn control to 300F and bake 30 min longer
- Turn off the oven and let the cake there for 30 min.
- Refrigerate at least 6 hours
- Right before serving, peel and slice 2 oranges
- Put 3 tablespoons of sugar, 2 tablespoon of Grand-Marnier in a pan with the oranges
- Cook until the caramel is golden
- Serve the cheesecake with the oranges
